Revolutionary day

Hey guys...this time m back pretty soon. Well, I have smthg interesting to share. Today, it was a revolutionary day for me in office. Just a brief of what happened:
Our volley(read it as volleyball) matches were scheduled on 1/2 nov and thats the immediate weekend post Diwali. So most of the non-bangalorites will be off to their hometowns and the participation will be minimal in tournament. I escalated this issue to the organiser(x). He is actually a director of one BU in my company. Big guy u see!!! Anyhow.. irrespective of numerous mails to him, and no response from that guy, I decided to add some spice. I sent a mail to volley-mailer list asking members to reply on the same thread where I requested X to reschedule the matches. And u know what...turnout was great.Loads of people replied to that. But one crazy thing happened. I didnt knew that X was also a member of volley-mailer list until i got the response from X to the mail I sent to volley-mailer. All he said was "Nice try...". :-( ;-) :-D  That was a shock for me. Anyhow, it was all open that we are against the schedule. So that guy was totally pissed off and instead of telling/clarifying/explaining anythg, he blatantly asked us to come up with solutions or go with the schedule. I jumped in as it was the chance for us to make us audible to a wider audience. So i suggested him some 3-4 ways to reschedule the matches and explaining him the pros and cons of each. Seems like that totally pushed him off the edge. Finally he sent the response asking us to go ahead and play ourselves in, and schedule the first 2 rounds of our team ourselves. So finally the little revolution paid off and now we can directly talk to the teams we are playing and arrange the matches according to us. Never expected this, but all the feelings from school life came rushing back to me, when I used to rebel against smthg that was not good for us..like poor timetable..or unnecessary extra classes..or may be too much of work load. For some time, I actually started thinking that people become moderate and they mellow down against the situations as they become experienced. But M so happy to realize that I am the same guy I was many years ago with the spark still igniting the emotions within me and I am still open to take challenges against anyone(this time it was the director). That adrenaline rush while writing mails and reading X's frustrated replies is something that I havent experienced for long and m elated to feel it again. They just reminds me of all those old thrilling memories....that i have had during childhood....And what I experienced today..will go as really remarkable momentz of my life...
So guys....Make ur moments so that U can cherish them later....
And yah one more thing.... M through to third round of Pool.  Nowadays, m really improving in this game. :)
Keep cherishing...

Festive season

M back, again after a long time. Actually not used to blog alot. So whenever it crosses my mind, i come over for blogging. Anyhow, its festival season starting now. Navratris are going on, then we have leave for dussehra.;) Leaves are what matter the most to software engg. Last week, I had to be in Bangalore as most of the guys from my office team were on leave, as ll of them went to their respective hometowns, and we had a very big release. So I had to cover them up if some issue comes. And guess what!! Even when the feature was in good shape, we had some last minutes issues. I guess MURPHY strikes always.;) Anyhow, everythg was sorted and solved and we released the product. So this weekend is gonna be pretty cool I guess. Planning to go somewhere for the weekend. Lets c if everythg turns out good. Next month, Volleyball matches are also gonna start. So pretty busy schedule ahead of me. And end of this month, m going to my hometown, Jaipur, for Diwali. So looking forward to it as well. So lots to come in near future, and alot happened in recent past...to be cherished..as always....:)
So keep cherishing, and make the most of this festive season. Happy navratri and Dussehra to all. Before Diwali, i might be back with another blog....so wishes for Diwali in that blog. :) have fun.
